Graphic Design & Visual Communication
Visual Identity | Creative Direction
Before moving fully into art direction for games and entertainment, I spent several years working as a graphic designer and illustrator across branding, visual identity, editorial design and music industry projects.
For me, graphic design was never only about aesthetics. The core challenge was always communication.
Whether developing visual identities, designing posters, or creating album artwork, the objective remained the same:
What is the clearest and most emotionally effective way to communicate an idea?
This approach shaped my work across freelance projects, cultural institutions, music branding, and commercial design studios.
I worked on visual identities for organizations such as Arsem and Cheap Tunes Records, as well as poster design for the Centre for Critical and Cultural Theory Cardiff University.
Working both freelance and within studios taught me how to balance creative exploration with deadlines, production limitations, and client communication.
I collaborated closely with clients, artists, and production teams to translate abstract ideas into practical visual solutions. Whether designing identities, posters, illustrations, or commercial assets, I focused on developing concepts that were visually strong but also strategically functional.
